Does anyone have this table and fence?
How does it compare to the kreg fence?

I was thinking of getting the kreg fence for my Hitachi 12" saw.
I know that I will loose the height of the table with the rockler one.
It is only $20 less than the kreg at woodcraft on the 27th.

    Thanks,

I just installed it a couple of hours ago and getting the fence adjusted for blade drift. I lost an inch on my HF 14" band saw, so I'll be ordering the Grizzly kit that is suppose to fit (because HF has their heads up their cula and quite carrying that very useful item).

So far I love it (compared to the couple of fences I had made from plywood.... and a 1" dowel screwed to one of the fences as a resaw fence). It comes standard with a circle cutting quide that will do 13" radius.... not a bad size for an occasional table.

For the price, I can't say anything negative about it. I looked at the Kreg while I was there, and it looked like a nice fence as well. I was glad to be able to get a larger work surface though, and the price was right on the Rockler. Sorry I can't give a full review yet, but so far I am pleased. It was easy to mount and adjust, and the Kreg resaw guides fit it.

I don't have very much shop time coming up, with school and football starting; so I wanted to get my band saw up to speed so I can use it and not fuss over it when I do have the time.

As for the Hitachi 12", I don't know if there is a riser available.... but the design should allow it to accept one. Try to take the measurements on the neck and see if the many available kits out there will fit. If you can't get a riser, and plan to do some resawing above 5", the Rockler would be a deal killer.
