Hitachi C12LCH 12" Laser Compound Miter Saw $219

I went to Lowes in Palmyra, PA, to buy ceramic tile and came across this clearence item. Its a 12" CMS with a laser and a unique digital display. The display shows the angles of mitre and bevel cuts. I took one home but haven't opened the box yet. The store in Palmyra had one more saw which is the display model.

    IMHO, YOU SUCK!!!
And to anybody else who has access to this deal, YOU SUCK TOO!!

The model below that with no display is ON SALE here for $399 and the guy sold out of them at that price.

    EDIT:
I take back that thing about y'all sucking.
I just re-read the website and realized this is NOT the dual bevel unit.
The unit that was on sale for $399 was dual bevel 12"

Actually, any of you that have a Lowes near you that dicounts good stuff do in fact suck (ok, maybe not that bad, lucky at least). My Lowes only discounts the returned, open box, order mistakes that nobody wanted in the first place.

Now the sears by me, thats another thing, gotten a couple of deals from them. Guess I should be thankfull for that at least.

When I lived in MN I was convinced that Iowa sucked and Alberta blows. How else would we get all that cold air flowing through there in the winter?

Actually, in MN, your cold would come from Saskatchewan and Manitoba, both of which BLOW big time IMHO.
We get chinooks here, therefore the cold air is all east of us.
But then, as we like to say here, all the hot air in Alberta comes from BC.

Don't kid yourself, eh. I spent a week in Edmonton in February fixing a machine to punch holes in snow plow blades and it was colder than a female pagan practioner's mammary gland even by MN standards.

(Did you know that if the driver plows with the blade to pavement the typical hardened blade only lasts 8 hours? That was true 18 years ago, don't know if it still is.)
