Yep, I mentioned this earlier, buried way down in the Rockler sale thread, but it deserves repeating.
I like that this set has the 220 AND the 600 grit; nice combo. It works very well, with a very solid handle. I can't think of a better way to sharpen these chisels.
I use mine in my drill press at 250 RPM, add a little mineral oil if it starts to clog up. Mortises are so much easier to push through now, I cant imagine the strain i was putting on the whole works before.
A little jig to hold them straight was all that was needed, very similar to a dowel holding jig. Two holes in line with a bandsaw kerf cut between them and a clamp on the one end. It takes all of 3 minutes or so to put a keen edge on my chisels now. I would imagine now that the angle on my mortise chisels match this set i could easily do it by hand. But then I wouldnt get to use the little jig. lol
