    Kreg screws

    Deal or no deal?

    Amazon has some (not most) of the Kreg 500-ct screws on sale - normally $15-16, now $7.50-8.

    Not on sale here. Still $15.

    I've had a couple of these in my cart for sometime now and have not received any notification that "Kreg screw blah, blah, blah, has decreased to $7.50. The price in your cart will always reflect the latest price"

    I just checked the Amazon Price Watch website. The price of the couple ASIN's I entered have not gone below $15.99 in the past 90 days.

    Dave, can you post a specific link?

    Thanks,
    Greg

        1"

        Looks like just the 1" screws, fine or coarse threaded, are on sale. These are for 1/2" stock.

          Is Rockler's sale still going on? They're selling ALL screws (including Kreg - all sizes, all packaged quantities they carry) for 50% off. It's a coupon item, although I don't know that they're requiring the coupon. And if they are, they probably have the fliers with coupons in the store.

          Regards,
          Tom

            Looks like the price is back to normal now... bummer.

            Stormbringer - funny you mention BBret's site - that's where I stumbled on it... (his site had more than one page of "price drops" for a while - it was up to almost 20 pages, and today it's back to one page - probably better for my wallet that way!)

            Anyway, in case you didn't already know, BBret's site has a little javascript link that you can drag into your bookmarks etc - then, when you're browsing through the various amazon pages (eg each item on the search page I linked to earlier), you can just click the bookmark, and it'll take you to BBret's site for that item.

            javascript: window.location.href='http://www.frozenwarrior.com/~pricewatch/item_price_history.php?aurl='+escape (this.location.href);
