Order was cancelled as a price mistake. Bet they had to send out a lot of these.

    Dear Harbor Freight Customer,

You recently placed an order with us that included item # 33751-5
Universal Bandsaw. Unfortunately I inadvertently advertised this
for $9.99 instead of $99.99, I apologize for any inconvenience this
    may have caused you.

Although I make every effort to assure that our prices and products
are advertised as accurately as possible, I am only human and
occasionally mistakes will happen. This Item has been cancelled
from your order. If you would still like to purchase this item
at $99.99 please feel free to contact our order desk at 1-800-423-2567
or visit our website at www.harborfreight.com.

Again I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may
    have caused you.

          Me, too.

I just received the e-mail. Man, how am I going to cut all those fine gem stones I have lying around the house. Darn it all to heck!

I know Michigan has (or at least did have) a law for retail outlets that required every item to be marked, and if the item rang up wrong, the store was required to refund you 10% or something. It's been awhile, but I had a retail job at the time the law was created and I had to help mark every item of inventory. I would think something similar would apply here. It's really not worth the effort, but I am sure they have some sort of responsibility to honor the ad.

            Same eMail

Just my 2 cents, but HF should have included some kind of coupon for the screw up. Heck you can almost always find a 10% or 20% coupon available.

At least thats what I would have done. As I said my 2 cents worth.

              Fun while it lasted

Well, it was exciting for a little while, but thinking we should somehow be compensated for it seems a bit much. Let's hope people don't try to take advantage or expose the mistakes we may make at our various jobs with such enthusiasm. Of course, we probably never make mistakes
