Blades at Rockler $10 Avenger, $20 Freud

Well, I just couldn't pass up a $10 blade, figured it must be worth at least that, but give me your opinions on these blades....

$10 - Avenger 10" 80T miter box blade (item 10023)

$20 - Freud 10" 40T F410

I thought I was getting the Freud for $10 too b/c of the Red Dot 50% coupon... but turns out they are just doing that for every red dot now and thus it came out to $20

I actually have a lot of blades (got some from Mike Jackson) so don't want to keep the Freud unless it is a steal for a great blade.

$20! (Amazon has it for $84.44 delivered!) The F410 should be cleaner cutting than the Leitz, and on par with a Forrest or Ridge Carbide. It's full kerf though. Rockler's website has it for $65 plus s/h (and sales tax here). Nice deal!

Got a link for that $20 Freud F410? Comes up $64.99 when I look it up at their website.

This was purchased at one of their stores... it was a RED DOT item @ $40 and at my store they are halving all the RED DOT items (so, $20); you can also use a coupon to get 50% any red dot item if they are being more stringent at your store (in other words, my store is effectively applying the coupon to ALL red dot items).

Thanks for clarifying the situation. There isn't a Rockler store where I live so I know nothing about RED DOT items and just assumed this was a deal that anyone could get as you posted it in the Bargin Alerts Forum.

A $20 Freud F410 has to rank right up near the top of the list for the deal of the year when spending under $100. Excellent find!

I would be looking out for the cops after that steal. An incredible deal on one of the better blades out there.
