thank goodness I placed in my cart earlier in the day, was suprised to see this still at that price in my cart. added a spade drill bill set and some featherboards to get that $25 gift card in the future. think it will actually come?

I don't think that the bosch router qualified as one of the tools to get you over $199 and eligible for a $25 GC. If I'm mistaken, let me know and I'll call to try and add some more stuff to my order.

I thought so...

I never checked the fine print, but I thought it qualified. I thought the page itself made reference to the $199 gets $25 promo and also if you click the promo link at the front of the tools page, go to power tools, then routers, you'll find this listed there. Of course, with any kinda rebate thing, you never really can count on it until you receive it. I'm sure I'll get an email froom amazon at some point citing some reason why I don't qualify. It'll probably be that $3 item which I used to get me over the edge. we'll see.

The man in yellow (DHL) dropped mine off this weekend. Haven't had time to use it, but just powering it up, man it it smooth and relatively quiet. Nothing like th POS Skil router I had before.

Looking forward to builing a poorman's router table for the short term. I'm sure I'll have lots of questions.

Amazon has been continually delaying my order, it is actually getting pretty annoying. Originally supposed to ship in Aug. and now not until the end of Oct?

FWIW, I just ordered this week, after the status changed from "in stock soon" to "in stock". It hasn't shipped yet, though.

Well, Amazon is messed up because they just sent me notice that the order has shipped.

So within a day I had a delay confirmation request(morn) and then a notice of shipment(afternoon).

Either way, it seems that the orders are getting filled.

Ordered it July 12 and after several delays finally came in. Really a nice well built machine. Thanks LarryG for the heads-up!
