Yes, I just checked, it is showing up at $151. Tried to get a buddy of mine to order one for his shop. Should have just ordered it, and let him reimburse me when it showed up. That was a good price.
Just purchased the Hitachi router a little over a week ago for $127.99. Emailed Amazon and they are refunding the $16 difference.
I'm just curious what Amazon policy this falls under. I've read the price match policy/low price guarantee, but it doesn't seem to apply in this type of situation. As I read it it only apllies to items that you intend to purchase not ones you have already purchased. Per this quote "Important: Price match must occur before purchase. " I know others have done this and some mention a 30 day window for this. Where would I find more details on this? I know the CS reps are fairly lenient on pricing and discouts, but is it company policy to give a refund for the difference if there is a price change after you purchase an item? Thanks to anyone that can clarify this for me.
A price match is against someone else's product. This is more a pricing guarantee... if you buy it now, you won't be sorry... you will get any better price for 30 days.
What's the deal with Amazon? Today I see $151 for the M12V, do they usually raise the price back up that fast or am I looking in the wrong place?
I think it depends on how fast the Amazon stock of the item sells. Most of the Bessey clamps went super low at around 6:30pm EST. the 12" and 24" where back up to normal price within 2 hours and were being sold by another company, not Amazon. The cabinet sets lasted about 14 hours. Some items go to really low prices and stay that way for a few days/weeks. You never know.
Just ordered the Bessey Cabinet kit, excellent deal. I'm glad I waited on this one. But I couldn't wait on the router and ordered a M12v a couple weeks ago, and just got it Friday( it's still in the box). I thought I did good getting it for $115 using a 20% code and getting an Amazon rep to give me the $15 off from their catalog. But I think I can live
Thanks for the post.
it only applies to Bessey clamps, and then only some of them. When you go to checkout, there is an opportunity to supply a coupon code on the right side of the screen... type in BESSEY20 there and you will get it (if it applies to what is in your cart).
