Would the table saw flange work for DC on the BT3100? I assume it is intended to be mounted beneath the saw, but 14x14 seems a little small, no? Anyone know if it'd work or how it could be made to work, or if there is a better alternative?

(I just read the reviewer's comments on this item and tho he is unflattering, it seems like for $5 it might be a good start anyway for a solution... your ideas & comments still sought.)

    Thanks!
    Never met a bargain I didn't like.

If you can use some spade bits, these from Bosch seem like a good deal:

      Anything else worthy?

Any comments on the Forstner bits? I could use a set, and at that price...
If you don't measure, you don't know.

They're ok. I got a set a couple weeks ago at $6 and change. The initial results are good. I don't know how well they will hold up. My PC forstner bits seem much more substantial. I don' tknow what the quality of steel is on the Hickory set. I may be able to take a look at them tommorow.
