I would say it is OK. You can get the ryobi kit with flashlight for $79 +$69 for the impact driver for a total of about $150. I would go ahead if you need both. The torque on the driver is a bit low(less than 900 In. lbs)but should still do OK.
I have a bunch of the Craftsman 19.2 stuff and am pleased. I got the regular driver and right-angle driver on sale for $99 a year or two ago. Then I added the sawsall which has since impressed me. Recently I picked up the impact driver for $70 (no battery or charger) and think it's great! I like the fact that you can buy their tools bare-bones and just add/get what you need.
Saying all of this... I bought the first combo before Ridgid started their lifetime guarantee thing. If I had it to do all over again, I'd likely go that route. HTH.
I bought the Craftsman 19.2 (C3) kit that came with drill/driver, 5-1/2" CS, sawzall, light and charger w/2 batteries for $249 CDN and am extremely pleased.
I've since purchased 2 more batteries c/w double charger as well as the stapler/brad nailer. I used this latest to staple all my vapor barrier as well as brads to hold my ceiling panels in place to screw them. Love it!!
I find the batteries last a wonderfully long time.
