Some Leitz Saw Blade Deals Are Back At Woodnet

Leitz distributor Mike Jackson is back at Woodnet with some amazing clearance deals from order cancellations. The 10" z24 FLAT TOP fast rip thin kerf #011 $ $11 each is the one that I thought would be of most interest to BT owners as well as others. It's identical to the $50 Schumacher & Sohn blade, but has the Irwin logo....made in Germany. Rips very aggressively with a reasonably clean cut, and low load on your saw. Mike is very responsive and charges actual UPS plus 50 cents.

I've gotten a few blades from Mike and he is a great guy PLUS the blades are absolutely killer. I have the 80t Leitz on my SCMS and 50 ATB Irwin on my TS. This thin kerf blade at $11 is a wonderful deal.

Any experience with this Leitz (for Delta) blade:
      35-654 12" z80 ATB -Negative Hook- 1" bore $37

I can't seem to find any info anywhere.

I'm trying to decide between this and the Freud LU85R012 (96 tooth), which is more than 2x the cost. It's for my Delta 36-255L.

The LU85 is Freud's best crosscut blade....haven't tried that Leitz as a comparison.

          Thanks Dustmight.

The Leitz seems like a good deal, and it's certainly an upgrade from the stock blade on the Delta miter saw. Just can't make up my mind if I should spend the extra $ and go for the Freud instead.

Jeffrey, how do you like the 80t on your SCMS? Have you used other blades for comparison?
