    Delta TP300 12" planer $110 at HDT

Heavy Duty Tools has a bunch of Delta equipment on clearance. They look like they are new to me, but there are no returns on them.

    Delta TP300 Shopmaster 12" Portable Planer - $110.

    Delta 31-695 6" Belt/9" Disc Sander - $135

    Delta AP400 Dust Collector - $75

    Delta 14-651 Mortiser - $105

I wish i could justify a mortiser - it is hard to resist at that price

Although that sounds like a good price, there seems to be some issues with Delta quality control on that model. There have been a number of reports of cracked and/or broken parts. A no return policy would make me very nervous about having a $100 paper weight. I should qualify that I don't own that machine but have been shopping over the last few months for a mortiser and have read lots of reviews. Just my $10^-2

The no-returns applies to the store. It still has Delta warranty, so if you had an issue you could take it to a service center. For most people, that is probably easier anyways than shipping it back to the store. They probably just want to clean out their inventory and not worry about exchanges and restocking.

Also, the Delta 34-184 Tenoning Jig - $40

It looks like they had the Midi Lathe for $120, but it sold out

Jeez, sat on the fence for about 10 minutes on the planer...and that was too long. It's now out of stock

Everything is sold out. I had problems opening the email the minute I got it or there would have been money shed (similar to blood shed).

Money shed, then, when your wife finds out, comes the shedding of the blood ?

It pays to browse their website occasionally. I just happened to see some of the deals before they even sent out their email. Too bad it took me too long to see the lathe. Last week i picked up the Makita 14.4 impact driver and drill kit a week after the sale email had been sent out. It had been out of stock the previous day and was out of stock again immediately after ordering it.

I got lucky... just double checked and found the Planer was IN STOCK... before I posted this and after placing my order, I checked again and it was out of stock.... I presume someone cancelled their order?

Anyhow, keep checking is all I can say.

ARGHHHHH! I've been checking off and on all day hoping to catch just such a thing. Good on you, good on you.

Don't feel guilty, my 8 month old daughter won't mind sitting on that thick, rough high-chair seat that I couldn't plane because y'all took the last Delta Planer....

I went there right after getting an e-mail and everything was sold out.

I live in the Chicago area and there used to be a chain of stores called Venture. They went out of business because they never had the goods advertised in their sales flyers.

                            Thank you!

I thought I had missed a good sale on the Delta mortiser (from Amazon) but this one is even cheaper.

                            Thanks for posting this Eric.
