Move quick if you want 'em. Who knows when they will pull the plug on this one:

That's almost as good a deal as LV had last year on the same kit, except they called it a cabinet door kit.

This is different. I bought that kit from Lee Valley for about $80 and it included two 24" and two 40" without the setup blocks. This one has 12" instead of 40" but has the blocks...and I think there's a $10 or 10% code floating around so I guess it's not bad for $65.

EDIT: Code only good on power tools.

Personally, I wish they would just drop the price on the 12" for a few hours instead of the 50" and 60" sizes.

BTW, the 31" went from $27 to $23 too.

      Regards,
      Greg

The cabinet door kits I have received at (2) 24's and (2) 40's plus those handy blocks for around $80 at Amazon. There is another kit that replaces 40's with 50's.

I agree. I would like a stack of small ones for dirt cheap.

The 12" Bessey's are really nice to have around. Before I bought them at the last big sale, I wondered if I would wish I'd bought 24". Nope. I use them a lot, and it's great not having way too much clamp getting in the way.

            Regards,
            Tom

              Tom,

Just curious, what was the price of the 12" at "the last big sale"? I've been watching these guys for what seems to be like forever and I can't recall them going on sale.

              Thanks,
              Greg

Is that a free shipping deal as well? Those things are heavy.

I bought a load of Besseys when HD closed them out and sold them to a BT3 member last year when money was tight and thought we were going to have to put the house up for sale. Now that I'm back into woodworking a bit, I've switched to much cheaper pipe clamps and find I like them better. They're way easier to handle and can be made to any length.

Tom: Your mention of the 12" Besseys brings back bittersweet memories. During last fall's 25th anniversary sale, when prices were averaging 40% off from most vendors, Monte and I split an order of the 12"-24" combos from Lee Valley. I got the 12", he took the 24". Every time I pull one of my 12" clamps off the rack or see one of these Bessey sale threads, I think about Monte. I hope Kyle (or someone) is putting those 24" clamps to good use.

Greg: The above combo cost, if memory serves, $75. Monte and I prorated the costs of the clamps each of us wanted based on their normal price. The 12" ended up costing me $17.84 each, and that's about as cheap as I've ever seen them.

(Interestingly, that $17.84 figure is the exact price I paid amazon.com for the 50" size during one of these recent K-Body blowouts, after all applicable discounts were applied. But I don't think they've ever had a really lowball price on the 12" size.)

Me three. I have a couple of the 12"ers, and find them very very handy. I'd like 4-6 more.

It was the 40% off sale around the end of last year, so whatever that works out to (around $20, IIRC?).

Larry, I can't think of a more highly prized tool than Bessey clamps to have as a memorial. And to top it off, the two of you probably scored the best deal on them!
