Anybody know anything about the quality, etc. of these tools? Final price on the router is $157 after discounts w/free shipping. Seems pretty reasonable for a 3HP plunge base router.
Worx tools on sale at Amazon.

Don't have any so I can't comment on fit, finish, or quality. I saw their ad's poppin up in my wood working mags over the past few months. Now I see Lowes is pumpin the brand big time. I don't what brand it replaced at Lowes (if any)...maybe GMC? This stuff seems to be beefier than GMC products. It seems like they want to come across as innovative with their funky designs and swiveling parts....maybe not such a bad thing?

Jeff,Originally posted by Jeffrey SchronceYou can get the proven Hitachi M12V for slightly less at Amazon right now.
I don't want to jack this thread away from the Worx discussion but the price is still $160..."how slightly less" did you see it?
Thanks,

Sorry, you are right. I was basing the price upon my poor memory, compounding this I posted up those deals very late last night.
I certainly don't want to encourage anyone from taking a risk and trying this out. A better router may have been found and we will never know unless someone tries it out. Then again, folks who want a tried and true may want to go with the Hitachi at a few MORE dollars.Comment

Ya, Greg take that! LOL!Originally posted by TKsDust$160 - MAYPOWER 10% off code = $144
Also, I note that the add that OP has attached shows price as $199.
I looked it up on Amazon and it is $199 - 10% which yields around $180. How did OP get $157?Comment

Throughout my racing career I was constantly reminded of this: "Keep the pointy end forward and the shiny side up!"
