Just picked up four of the Besseys myself. When I got to the checkout page Amazon offered a free 3-month trial membership to Amazon Prime (Amazon Prime means unlimited free 2-day shipping), so I signed up for that deal.

So, for just over $80 I get four great clamps arriving in two business days with no shipping costs. Woohoo. Now I just need to remember to cancel the Amazon Prime membership before the 3-month trial membership is up...

OK 1. what 10% code? besides the MAYPOWER because that doesn't work on the Besseys. And 2. The Hitachi has already gone back up to $159.99. And 3. d*** you , I want the Besseys but LOML will kill me if I order them. She was OK with the 50" that came a week ago, but as I've said before "you guys are killing me with these deals".

Not necessarily. Word over on Woodnet is that there is a deal in the works for the new Jet clamps. Those that have them love them even more than their Bessey's or Jorgy's....and i'd have to agree. There have been absolutely no deals on them through Amazon yet and they too are quite expensive. But if they pull a Bessey price slash I'll be all over them.

The Jets look like the final evolution in perfect clamps.
Unless someone can make a clamp that doesnt even need the bar.
Like some elctromagnetic pads that pull together in perfect allignment.
