Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question but how are those setup blocks suppose to be used? I've seen the set up bars to measure height for router tables and table saws but never seen anything like those blocks with holes. If anyone can enlighten me I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

They are used mainly in metal working. I have a set and use them on my milling machine for set-ups.
