    HF workbench closeout

Workbench is on closeout with limited quantities at $45.99. Regularly 99.99. This is a nice bench, I bought it myself at regular price. Practically cheaper than making your own!

Can you post a link to this bench? I went to the HF site and didn't see it.

It is on the mail flyer for their stores. The item # is 91835. The only thing that looks like a flyer # is 1111. Sale ends May 30th. Some people on this forum know where to find the local flyers on the web.

Is it just me, or does the one in the picture look bowed?

Go to www.harborfreightusa.com, enter 91835 in the item number search.
I really am going to make something one of these days.

Yeah, it seems pretty small to me.

Here's a working link directly to the bench: http://www.harborfreightusa.com/usa/...o?itemid=91835

I just received a catalog and they have what looks like two different benches in it. They look to be pretty nice but of course, they cost more.I think $149 and 199.

                    The size is 39 1/2" by 19 1/2", and about 34" high.

In the catalogue you got, if the model number is the same, then it is the same. If it is different, then maybe it is the new replacement for this closeout. So the new cost would then be $149.

Grab this one up if you need it.

I don't get any prices when I check the web site, even after I add the bench to my shopping cart.

Agent511 - What do you think about the overall construction of the bench? Sturdiness, fit/finish, table top flatness... I guess what I'm asking is does it seem like a good quality bench with some heft behind it. Called my local HF and they have a bunch in stock at the $45 price. This wasn't something I was in the market for but the price is so good I'm thinking of picking one up if it's useable. The size is a bit small but maybe it could act as a secondary bench for smaller projects? I guess I'm trying to make excuses to pick one up even though I don't really need it. I would love to hear feedback from those who own this bench to motivate me to make a trip to my local HF.

                        Thanks

i have a sjoberg bendh that is about twice as long, and it's way to small. the big thing is the depth of the bench. i would hold on to my money, and get something bigger. unless you have a big assembly table and are using this as a parking area for drills and screws and what not for smaller projects as you say, but i've been pretty disapointed.

To be honest, I am using it for a parking area also. It is not a huge bench.

But to the question of the quality/fit/finish - it is excellent. That is - the bench itself. The vice is on the very cheap side. But the bench is fine.

Certainly worth the money over building one yourself, if this is something you could use.

tg3 - perhaps it is no longer available online?? The ad I have is the store ad, and it is a closeout.
