    Kreg K2000PP ProPack Amazon$91

Amazon.com has the Kreg K2000PP ProPack Pocket Hole Jig for $91 with free shipping. Step block and riser block included for 1/2-inch and 1-1/2-inch material.

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...56901?n=228013

I have it,use it for years, and think it is more versatile than the new kit.

What can this one do that you can't do in the new kit?

Not trying to bash this deal (it is good when there aren't alternatives), but you might still find it on clearance at Lowes, and with the receipt posted here on BT3, you can get it for $68.75)

I believe that you can get another 10% off at Amazon by using coupon code TOOLS10P. I have not tried it myself as I am kind of banned from buying any new tools for a while.

I have also just gotten new progressive lens glasses for the first time, so will be staying away from power tools for a while until I get used to these crazy eyes.

          Amazon vs. Lowes

Amazon will match Lowes price and give you 10% on the difference to boot. Then use the 10% TOOLS discount!

Let's see if the math comes out right:

          $90.99 - $68.75 = $22.24 X 10% = $2.22

          $68.75 - $2.22 = $66.53 then

          $66.53 less 10% = $59.88 final price!!!!

Throughout my racing career I was constantly reminded of this: "Keep the pointy end forward and the shiny side up!"

Just an FYI - Good luck getting a price match from Amazon. They are very strict about their policy. If you notice in the product details where it says "Discontinued by manufacturer :yes" means they will not do a price match. I tried to do this with the Makita raised panel router bits that were on close out at HDT a while back. First they told me that they were not able to find the HDT website or that it wasn't working and that the 1-800 number HDT was busy. A few minutes later they tagged the Makita bits with the "discontinued status" under product details and told me they could not do a price match.
