(5)BT3100 saws at HD,SF Area(ElCerrito,CA)

Hi, All,
I don't know how helpful it is, but on the instigation of Keith KomaToast I got off my duff and called arounfd ALL the San Francisco Area Home Depots. I then raced out last night and bought a BT3100 on clearance from the Home Depot in El Cerrito, CA just North of Berkeley and about 40 min from downtown SF.(510)235-0800.
They had 5 more stacked by the door as of 9:05pm last night.

They took my Lowe's New Mover coupon for 10% as well.

Last day today for the $35 gift card as well.

Many thanks to Keith for his generous advice and help. I would have slept through the deal, for sure. I motivated my motor and am pleased.

I am new to the Forum here, so I hope this is an acceptable thing to do. Let me know if otherwise, someone.

How much did you pay for these 'clearance' BT3100s?

The stores in the south Bay are at $249 and not responding to the $199 match-it to other stores because they are back east. OTOH, they say they will price match other Bay area stores.

Keith KomaToast hinted that I should look for a possible additional "Gray" rebate or gift coupon of some sort as well. Am heading to HD within the next couple hours to get the accesory kit. Will report what I see.
