Rockler Deal or No Deal - Through Dovetail

Today Rockler has the Through Dovetail Template on sale, regularly $67.99 now $33.99, which is a great deal. Does this template fit on the nearly identical HF DT jig?

Also, does anyone know what degree of the Holbren DT bit?

There is a post pertaining to that exact question on the forum somewhere from about a year or a year and half ago. I remember that it was not a perfect fit and that a hole or two had to be redrilled. Try to search for it.

If you check the specs on the Rockler (hb) DT jig versus the HF , you'll find some differences, mostly the Rockler jig is wider.

I remember the thread on the compatibility of the two units with minor modification, however I *believe* that Rockler has changed the design of their jig in the last couple months.
I think I will order it and give it a try. I will post results.
