    Senco 3-of-a-kind good bargain?

HD is advertising the Senco 3 nailer set for $219 in their flyers (this is the 15ga finish nailer, 18ga brad, 18ga stapler -- models Finish Pro 35 & 15, respectively).

I seem to remember, however, that when I was in the store the guy scanned it and it rang up at $153 on a price check.

I may be making that up, but is that a screaming deal at that price or just good?
    Never met a bargain I didn't like.

I think I got mine for under $200 - I really liked them a lot, then my son decided to rehab his new house and I haven't seen them since.

They had this at $199 online for a while but $219 in the stores. Still a good deal and my wife got it for me for xmas. But then it dropped to the $150 range and she took the receipt in and got an adjustment. Surprised to see them again cause they said they were closing out at that price back in January.

        Going fast...

I picked one up for $153, and a Makita 4" Grinder for $48 to get over $199 so I can get the $35 gift card.

They were going fast when I was in Home Depot on Sunday. They said another store had 8, went to that other store, they only had 3 left less than an hour later.

I haven't used them yet, but they look pretty good. I was looking for a 15 gauge angled finish nailer ($99 PC reconditioned at Toolking), but here I got two more guns for only about $50 more. Seems to be worth it.

bought mine for $200, then it went up to $220, then it dropped to $155 or so. Not a bad deal if you only use it occasionally. I am a trimmer and I am not impressed by any of the three guns. was going to sell the set to a buddy for $150, then I saw HD selling them for only a couple bucks more and told him to just buy the new set. So if anyone really wants a set for $150 and can't find a new set, let me know.

I mostly do home improvement projects so I'm not really working them too hard. I like the bigger angled nailer and used it quite a bit on a flooring project. The brad nailer seems to be a little inconsistent at setting the nails and only holds 1 1/4" brads. Haven't really used the stapler but it seems like it will come in handy once in a while.

I've had that kit for a little over a year. I absolutely love it. I've had no problems, no downtime, and no regrets. I paid $200, and considered it a bargain.
