    Thanks for posting!

I think it was a couple years ago that these hit the shelves at ~$125, and then shortly after they jumped to $175. I've been kicking myself ever since for not jumping on it then. This makes it all better.

    Regards,
    Tom

If you have any need for an additional 14 volt drill body - I have one that's brand new that I have no need for that I'd sell for $35. It's a model #6228 - came in a blower combo and I already had a drill.

I'm in MI - I'd sell it for $47 shipped depending on where you live.

      Thanks,

      Julian

Show's over, folks! They're back up to $179.99, and now they're shipping from a 3rd party.

I got my order confirmation at $99.99, but I'm not holding my breath.

So, move it along, people -- nothing to see here.

        Regards,
        Tom

You might well be okay. A lot of times when amazon.com sells out of an item themselves, it's replaced with the same thing from a third-party vendor (often at a substantially higher price).

Well, I might start holding my breath now -- I just got a shipping confirmation from Amazon.

So, BBret, it looks like half of your posts have saved me $$. Sure, you've only posted twice, so far, but I think I'm going to keep a close eye on you. Thanks again!

            Regards,
            Tom

You are welcome. I will only post the big price drops (>25%). I think Amazon purposely gives these "teasers" out occasionally. You can always find all the changes on my website. The big price drops do not happen that often.

I forgot to mention, this is the best page to look at for these type of big price drops: Big Drops

It is a query for the last 24 hours, sorted by percent dropped, and only showing the items that are around or lower than the all-time low price. Currently, the Makita drill is number one.

Now what's this about a Bosch 1617 at Amazon? ("Dead man walkin'!")
