    Get 'em Quick/Tool Gloat

    Don't know if this has been brought up already but, HD is discontinuing the Rigid Herc-u-lift. Since Rigid is including them with the tool now they won't be stocked at the BORG. Get 'em while you can.

    I had to drive an hour to a store that still had some and bought two.

    The gloat.

    While there I noticed some bench tools on a table back in a corner. There was a cordless CMS and 10" DP both Ryobi. The DP101 was a display model marked down to $80. I had the guy plug it in for me and noticed there was a little vibration on the shaft. So being the horse trader in training that I am I asked if they could knock a little more off it for me. After searching for the Dept manager for a little while he came back and said he could mark it down another $20. Sold! I got a new, slightly dusty, DP101 for 60 bucks. The chuck key and allen wrench were still with it too. All I need is a manual.

    Sounds like you got a heck of a deal! You may be able to find the manuel online, if not, Ryobi customer service should send you one.

      Yeah, I'm happy with that deal.

      Since the Q got asked in a similar thread which has resurfaced;

      YES, the Hecr-u-lift is VERY MUCH worth the hassle. Step on the pedestal to raise the tool and push with one finger to move it then step on the orange release lever to lower.

      Go get a couple before you wind up paying $40 + S&H to order one.

      And hey, who knows, you just might find a clearence table with something on your wish list on it.

        I got one for $20 something dollars when I bought my Bandsaw. I cursed and I threw fits and I even threw it in the trash a few times but I eventually got it to work right and YES it was worth the hassle. It actually took longer to assemble it than the bandsaw itself. If they got their instructions written a little better then this would be a heck of a seller for them. My advice is to pretend you are a child who cant read and follow the pictures.
