Kreg Pro Pack on Clearance at Lowe's

At the Sanford, NC Lowe's today, I found three Kreg Pro Pack sets reduced from $125 to a clearance price of ~$68. That's not a hot store for tool sales, so I felt safe sleeping on the deal until tomorrow. I like these jigs, so that seems like a nice deal to me.

I did find it interesting that the tool crib guy at this store knocked off >$50 on these Kreg kits, while at the same time, he won't go over 10% off the original price on ragged-out (and in some cases, parted-out) display model nailers, impact drivers, Delta benchtop tools (BS, DP, etc.).

Checked up here in Raleigh, NC and its still $125.00. Must be a manager's special! That is a very good deal. I had to have one and ended up paying the $125.00 and then they came out with the Kreg K3, last fall!

Oh well! If I didn't already have one I'd go for it!

not a bad deal at all. i picked up a K3 just after the new year, i love it. you ought to have similar joys with your pro pack.

Here in Appleton WI one of our local hardware stores (Kitz & Pfeil) has the Kreg 2K Pro Pack for $99. After checking the price @ Amazon, I went ahead and picked one up. What a darn handy tool! It's hard to avoid using it everywhere... Maybe wasn't the best deal, but still a good deal.
