    Source for plastics

Does anyone know anything about this place or has anyone ordered from them before?
    Modern Plastics
    https://secure7.nexternal.com/shared...unt2=124518990

This is their online store. I was checking out the overstock items and see such things as 1.500" x 1" x 20" UHMW Natural Color Sheet(Overstock) for $2.50 each.
    or
    .250" x 5" x 48" UHMW Natural Color Sheet(Overstock) for $5.10

    Are these good prices?
Why doesn't the word 'planing' show up in my computer spell check?

I don't know... I'm still waiting for a cagalog... the prices I checked seemed excellent... the variety was definitely outstanding.

Now where's my catalog??? (they said 6 weeks or something, but I don't want to believe it)

      Obnoxious

I've never ordered from this company, and from the looks of their web site, I never will. That floating window with the option to speak with a live person is horribly obnoxious and doesn't even have a way to get rid of it. Every time you go to a new page, the stupid window floats over whatever you're trying to look at!

I rate this as one of the worst web sites I've ever visited.

http://www.delviesplastics.com/ is good people, and I've also had good luck with http://www.usplastic.com/ even though their web site is kinda hard to use (their catalog is great).

I don't get that window - must be my popul blocker - only a 'live chat' link on sidebar.

Far as prices, they seem on par with many other places selling products like that. I.E. a 24x24" plate of 1" thick UHMW-PE for $100 is pretty much standard.
