Like the Eagles song says: Already Gone.

But no great loss, IMO. I received that exact same set as a freebie with my Makita RF1101 kit, and that $112 "regular" price is laughable. These are good bits and at $14 they'd would be a decent buy, but I wouldn't pay a whole lot more than that for them.

Sorry, Ken, that didn't come out right; I wasn't trying to rain on your parade. As I said, at $14 these would be a pretty good buy. But I just didn't want folks to think they'd missed the deal of the century since the "regular" price suggests these are worth something like ~$20 each.

Hey Larry, I was kidding. Not my parade. I did get a set last week to give to a friend starting in WW'ing tho. Hope she doesn't hate me and give up WW'ing after using them. ;-D

Yes, Dave. When specials from HDT hit they are generally gone fast. Sign up for their email alerts to have a chance. Then you still have to be quick.

Also note that a lot of spam filters block their email. Both Googles - Gmail filter blocks it as well as Nortons spam guard.

Gmail doesn't block it for me. I don't get near anything Norton anymore.

Everything I get from these folks and Woodpecker ends up in the spam filter when checking via web mail. When I use Outlook to check the email at gmail it automatically takes all items from the Spam Folder on gmail and puts them into Trash.

I have gone into Gmail and specified that emails from these vendors are not spam, so hopefully that will correct the problem.

I am in the same camp with Norton and since I have an expiring license, I am looking for a strong, reasonable, inclusive pop up/ virus / spyware / etc killer. Any recomendations or should I start another thread?

Well, at the risk of being flamed, and not knowing what OS you are running.....
After I grew tired of Norton and McAfee eating my system resources, I tried AVG Free and liked it, so I then used the commercial version. This was for virus protection only. So I had to run different apps for spyware and popups.

I now use the Google Toolbar and Win XP SP2 for popups and they do real good. A few weeks ago I started testing the new Windows Live Onecare suite, which is free now and will be very reasonable when fees are charged.
Suprisingly, it is catching spyware and virus threats that aren't caught on the other PC with AVG and spyware apps. It uses almost no resources.
It includes antivirus and spyware protection. If you aren't a MS hater, it's worth a try.
