The discounts on snow related items disappears on Sunday, with the snow expected on Monday. Might be able to find a bargain again by Friday. It is weird to have a couple inches of snow on the first day of spring. That just doesn't seem right.

                  Hmm...

We've had so little snow in Vermont this winter that I'll need to be reprogramed on how a snow shovel works.

Maybe it was a typo and it was supposed to read Sand Shovel? And since my HD never gets any of the bargains talked about here, I bet they have a truckload of them.

A couple weeks ago I would've said sure. You can keep your mosquitos though.
We didn't get our first dump until then. Then we got a foot in a day.

To all you cold blooded folk living in warm climes. You don't know the fun you're missing.

I'll take snow with sunny and cold over hot and 120% humidity anyday.

                          Oh, and BTW......
That's me giving you an Archie Bunker strawberry because I didn't know how to spell PTH.

Anyone ever notice how it's nearly impossible to find a shovel with a metal d-handle anymore, they're all plastic? I make my own out of 1/4" bar stock and pipe, 'cause I KNOW the cheap-a** Chinese crap ones are gonna break the first time they see 20 below. My fave shovels all have schedule 80 pipe handles, with home-made d handles on the end. The extra weight of the pipe makes them cut through slush and ice like a dream.
