Wouldn't exactly call it a tool but it's 50% starting Sunday (March 19) at Sears. $30 marked down to $15. Opinions? Worth $15?

How do you know it's going to be 50% off starting tomorrow? I checked it out on the sears sight and didn't see anything mentioned about a sale on this item. Thanks. Thinking about picking one of these up.

Sale ends 3.25.06 and there are a few different models on sale. No sign of replacement batteries though.

I have 2, very bright,but they discharge much faster than a 18v type. Uses a lead/acid sealed batt. I called the Co. and they sell replacements direct, and bulbs which were not very much. I bought them 1 y.a., keep them in the trucks. Good balance hand held,and it will stay upright for use.
Note the adapters are for charging NOT rec. for use to power the bulb according to the manuf.

I bought one a couple of years ago during a "Black Friday" Sale. Very bright, but fried after about 4 charges.
