    Better deal on PC 690

This might be a better deal than the 616. I believe it is a brand new unit and there is also a $20 rebate from PC

Of the PC or the Dewalt at essentially the same price - I'd choose the Dewalt. The one handed bit changes and removable cord are nicer features.

I have the 618 3 base kit and have been generally happy with it, though I would rather have the Bosch over the PC or the Dewalt for the precision height adjust on the standard base.

The vacuum on the Dewalt Plunge base works very well though.

ToolKing is very reputable - I've bought from them for years now.

I have 3 DeWalt routers and I think that is one of the tools that DW actually does well. Better made than the PC 7529(a router test in WW mag found PC runout to be much more than DW's) I have, the DW621 I think is the best hand held one made, like Pat w. says. I also have 2 DW610's, you can not kill them, this model replaced them. All the DW recons WERE serviced in TN, but now I think they come from Mexico. I never had a bad recon from the TN plant.

No. Personally, I don't need it.
