PC 557 $129 AR at Amazon

Amazon has the PC 557 plate jointer at $159.20 now. PC is also running a $30 mail in rebate, which would put the final price at $129.20.

That's a very good deal on a great joiner.

      And free biscuits, too!

As they have long done, amazon.com is offering an assortment of 1000 biscuits FREE with this plate joiner. That's enough to save you from having to buy any biscuits for a very long time, and is a $20 value ... further reducing the price of the plate joiner itself to only $109.20. The kit also includes the small blade required to cut face-frame size biscuit slots.

      All in all, a STEAL.

Which url gave you the 1000 free biscuits? Other joiners have the biscuits but did not see any with this one.

Mid page: Click the yellow button "Buy Both And Save". The price of the biscuits are automatically reduced to $0.00 upon checkout.

I know Amazon likes to flucuate prices but man-o-man, if you snooze you lose....until they drop it again

Glad nobody talked me into the freud yesterday. Pulled the trigger at $159 this morning....or as Larry put it, $109.20

I don't have one but I just read another post where they were singing the praises of the O'Malley BJ that is about $80.

Well, mine has only put in 105 biscuits so far, but i have to tell you that this thing is actually a joy to use, (provided you leave off the "dust bag" and let the chips fly everywhere)
a little pricey maybe, but an extremely solid joiner at any price.
