HF Dust Collector 94029 On Sale

I noticed in the latest HF ad that they had their 94029 1 hp mini dust collector on sale for $99 instead of the usual $199. I figured with 20% off coupon I could have a dust collector for about $80. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does anyone know what the difference is between this and the 31810 item that they normally sell for $109? Don't have the money to get the big 33 gallon one. I figured the small one had to be better than a shop vac at least.

    Thanks,
    David

You will have to replace the bag. That is going to cost you $40 - $70 for 1 micron bag. As far as being better than shop vac, unless you are upgrading the bags, you maybe better off with an upgraded 1 micron filter on your shop vac. Just my $.02.

Hold out for the 2HP version -- it really is fantastic for the price point.

I would go for the 2HP

I went to HF yesterday thinking that I would buy the 1 HP. When I saw them side by side, I knew that I was noy buying it. You are getting way more for your money immediatelyon the 2 HP, plus you have the option of upgrades when money becomes available. If you have a 20% coupon, you can get the 2HP for 55 dollars more than the 1 HP version.
