nice, if you know your prices and search thoroughly some of the items are an ok deal,
but theyre taking the % off of List/msrp ,not the usual going price.
it reminds me of the way overstock.com operates,claining 90%savings and other ridiculous inflated padded percentages, which personally, offends me..

Hi Louis,

There is a recent thread somewhere with this info. It's a buy 2 Bessey K-body clamps (31"+) and get a free 24" K-body.

The BESSEY24 code is on each K-body product page but it hasn't been working for the past couple days (at least). I had to call to get it applied but it wasn't a problem.

I was able to use the bessey24 code. Just make sure you have 2 31"+ bessey clamps and the 24" clamp both in your cart. Then enter the code and it takes off the amount of the 24".

oh yes! definitely a good posting too, especially if someones already planning on getting something(s) at amazon right now. $50 (20%) off your $250 total + the markdowns per item should equate to a nice savings!
my example didnt include the additional $50 off either which makes it a super buy.

The problem can lie in wait if you attempt to use other codes but then decide not to place the order. Those codes "stick" with your account and will block the use of the Bessey code since it can't be combined with any other promos.

The problem still persists with my account. The reps are unable to remove old codes so I always need to call to have them apply the code manually. It's a slight hassle but at this point I'll need to hire someone to use all the 24" clamps I have.

Yeah. I never pay attention to their % off numbers.

It does irritate me that they pulled the $30 off $125 (24%). What other major "reputable" retailer advertises a sale through the end of the month then cancels it on the 18th? I know they can do whatever they like but, programming errors aside, if I ran my business like they run theirs, I'd be out of business.

i'd tried to snag a PSI mini-lathe on the bogus $80-off fiasco, but got cancelled.

looking at the JET now, its$279 - $50 - another $25mail-in rebate(which i usually refuse to bother with,but in this case) = 205,free shipping, thats probably the best i can find on this lathe and it's always touted as a good model. think i'll take the plunge for aout 75 more than the other one i'll get a (supposedly) much better machine,
