Workbench vise at Grizzly.

Looks like Grizzly now carries same large front bench vise hardware that Lee Valley sells for $72 and Woodcraft for $68. Except Griz sells it for $30.

Good thing I put off bench construction till after new year - will save almost $80 now.

I just bought two of these from Woodcraft. Standard lousy Chinese metalworking. Had to do a lot of grinding inside the handle area to remove all the flash and poor casting.

I purchased 2 of the $30 Grizzly vises http://www.grizzly.com/products/H7788 I have not recieved them yet. I will post back and let you know how they look. The package weighs 47 pounds so I dont think these will be crappy like the HF clamps I almost bought.

Just got the vise in today. D@MN!! This thing is huge! Definitely not flimsy! Now I get to try and figure out how to mount this... THING!!
