    Google Maps is upside down!

Noticed it on my desktop since yesterday - when opened, Google Maps shows okay; but when clicked, or refreshed, or any activity on the map (directions, etc), the $@!$@ map flips over, upside down!

At first it was amusing, and even entertaining (I called others over to take a look), but now it's a nuisance. Funny thing is, it functions okay - the directions, arrows, everything, even zoom!

Is this somebody playing a trick on me, or some virus? (And oh, this happens only on Firefox).

    This is how it looks:

I was going to say maybe your location setting has you in Australia, but...

You're not alone. Seems to be a bug in Firefox v37.

well, that's good to know, in way.
(btw, I did google for this problem, but never hit on that page you linked. Thanks!)

Now I have to go thru that series of steps that worked for others...I'll report back

Not only upside down, but backwards too. That is how a south bound mole might see it.

Bing maps seems to be working fine - and Bing doesn't take and sell your personal information, or regularly revise their user interface rendering it virtually unusable, then refuse to let you use the "classic" version after a time (i.e. the one that actually works).

Guess you can tell I'm not a google fan lol.

Thanks for the info on Bing Maps. I too am fed up with the constantly changing interfaces of other sites. Bing looks nice and clean. I look forward to using it.
