A few weeks ago I changed my password and promptly lost the new one, so I was locked out for a time.

Moral of the story: don't change your password!

For me, when I change passwords and then happen to remember correctly but input it wrong, I panic. Did I use the wrong password or did I just input the correct one wrong? With my banking and a few accounts, three times missed and I am shut out!

For me, when I change passwords and then happen to remember correctly but input it wrong, I panic. Did I use the wrong password or did I just input the correct one wrong? With my banking and a few accounts, three times missed and I am shut out!

I hate when that happens! I need to change my teacher passwords frequently, and of course if I write them down anywhere, my fun-loving students will find them and hack their grades. I get one or two "failed login attempts" a year that I know weren't me. So far, though, no hacked gradebook.
