Great story, glad he was finally recognized for his valor.
It's sad that we can't seem to honor all of those who earned such honors. I know of a few myself, but have to believe there are many more who just "did their job" without recognition.

Billy Morton, one of my high school classmates was an Army Warrant Officer that flew medevac choppers. He lost his life the 3rd time he was shot down trying to extract wounded from a hot LZ.
