Video about a true American Hero

If you don't need tissues by the end of this you need to have someone check for a pulse.

Great story. I'm going to send that link to a number of friends and family.

Lots of reasons to share some inspirational stories these days.

Great story, glad he was finally recognized for his valor.

It's sad that we can't seem to honor all of those who earned such honors. I know of a few myself, but have to believe there are many more who just "did their job" without recognition.

Sometimes you just can't find the words to say what you want to say. This is one of those times. 13 years is a long time waiting.

I knew an 18 year old kid who lost his life in a helicopter during a rescue attempt. After all these years, I often think of him. Billy Harper was his name.

Billy Morton, one of my high school classmates was an Army Warrant Officer that flew medevac choppers. He lost his life the 3rd time he was shot down trying to extract wounded from a hot LZ.
