    Fall Hits Niagara

Fall is finally arriving in the Canadian Niagara Region with a flourish of colour. LOML and I spent some time wandering through a local conservation area. Here is the view along the Niagara Escarpment. This is east toward Niagara Falls( about 40 miles away).

From the "deep south" part of Canada

      Thanks for the Photo

I recently moved from MI to Colorado and kind of miss the falls back east. The weather is awesome here but the fall colors not so much.

I'm from western NY originally and probably drove through lower ON to visit family 100+ times in the 25 years that I lived in MI. My favorite part was driving through Hamilton where the escarpment is clearly visible as you are ascending/descending between the levels of Lake Ontario and Lake Erie.

I loved the drive through NY to Rochester in the Winter too. Lots of lights and usually fresh snow.
