    beautiful tenons ----- BUT......

    But on the wrong side.

Still working on that Morris chair -- was cutting tenons into the top of the legs.

(chair arms have through mortises). Three perfect tenons --- and moved onto number four - and realized just as I was cutting in ----- I'm cutting the bottom, instead of the top of the leg.

Fortunately, I had only made the initial cuts, and had not made it to the cheeks - so I set up my band saw to cut some 1/8" strips ---- and filled in the cuts.

I feel your pain... I make "perspective" errors often... My brain doesn't visualize 3D... Which causes all sorts of challenges in woodworking.

Wish I had a piece of walnut for every time I've made that error.
I am praying for patience but extremely upset that it takes so long.

Dangit - now that's an idea --- I could have done inlays with black walnut!

        Shoot!

Well - I'm not going to go cut the wood again!
