    Plomb Tool Treasures

About a year ago, I went to a garage sale a widow was having and bought an old machinists chest with some tools. Recently I had occasion to use one of the sockets & Ratchet Wrench. I was greatly impressed with the smooth operation of the ratchet, and took a magnifying glass to inspect the worn engraving which read "Plomb". I did some research and found the following -

Returning to the tool chest, I discovered I not only had a nice set of Plomb sockets, but wrenches as well

To be working with tools that might have been made between 1927 thru the 1940's was a humbling experience as I thought what part they might have played if any in the War(s) Effort.

If you have the pebble stuff, there are collectors for it. It doesn't sell for Snap on's prices at auction, but there is a good sized market for it, and Bonney tools.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
