MSN Hotmail turned into Outlook. I just noticed there was no choice to be able to forward an EM. Do I have to contact MSN, or did I just miss something. Here is the task bar...

If you click "Reply" it brings up a drop down with "Reply, Reply all, & Forward". -
Thanks for the quick response. I clicked on "Reply", and couldn't see how to forward. After your suggestion I went back and clicked on the ity bity arrow next to it and found the "Forward". So. I guess I did miss something.
What irks me is that all of a sudden they want to "Improve" something we get so used to using, and change it. Same thing happened with the Photobucket format.

Yahoo is as bad. I have 4 separate Yahoo email accounts and all of them look different on the home page. It is crazy. I am getting ready to scrap Yahoo and go to Gmail once I get Gmail and the home page figured out. They have to keep making thing better or else someone else will steal the customers, well somebody is. If Microsoft has to keep reinventing window of go out of business what it to do? I was happy with XP but now its window 8 which I have not intention of changing to. When it comes to that it will be Apple
I am 70 and it is starting to get a little difficult in dealing with the changes, I have no need for all the garbage they are putting out to make my life easier. My life is supposed to be simple. Get up decide whether to go fishing of do a DIY at home and on Mondays and Fridays take care of 2 year old grandson and take is sister to Karate twice a week. Other than paying the bills the biggest decision I really have to make is which Dog Park are we going to today. Only two of those require a computer and if I wanted to write checks to pay the bills I could eliminate the computer. Then it would be just for BT3 and a few other websites for my hobbies. Oops! for got to charge my Iphone and Ipad mini last night better get that done first this morning.

I agree, when our grandkids visit all devices (including there parents) are told to place their toys in a basket on the table in the dining area until they leave.Otherwise all we ever see are to tops of their heads and twitching thumbs,lolComment

I think all the "new stuff" is good as long as we do not let it take over (like the developers want to). Microsoft has always had the philosophy of large bloated codes and they have taken over the PC world. So we have to have faster and faster processers with more and more memory to deal with the bloated codes with their huge number of useless features. We have to deal with develpers that move commands in codes for no discernable reason.
If we upgrade only when we have a real need for something the newer code or computer offers I think we are putting the technology more in its place. I still use a 2008 vintage Vista desktop at home and don't have any immediate plans to replace it. I want a XP laptop and my new wife may have one for me. I have one computer code that requires XP. I have a little tablet too, which I didn't really need, and enjoy using it for email and paying bills. I'm not against buying things just because we want them but I don't think we need to be chasing the latest and greatest all the time. If we do, I am concerned the technology has become the master and us the servant.

When I upgraded hardware 8 months ago I reluctantly gave up XP and got 7. I didn't have it more than 3 or 4 months and MS came out with 8!? What the heck was wrong with 7? I believe that it served its purpose. Changes for the sake of change. More complicated way of accomplishing things. A new directory system. I could scream. The older I get the less interested in dealing with with the trivialities of tech. Windows 8!! Sheeesh!!

I couldn't agree with you more. I liked XP, and had no desire to go to 7. We are at their mercy. Now, especially with emails, Facebook and Twitter is plastered on everything. I consider that just a bombardment. But, complaining won't change anything. Other unasked for changes. I get several magazines by subscription. A good example of my aggravation can be as simple as a change in how a magazine is compiled and done graphically. One specifically is Road & Track. The last issue is completely different than the way it has looked for a long time. Certain sections that were a monthly regular are missing. The graphics are juvenile, and the magazine now looks like a comic book.
