At one point the magnets were effecting an aluminum can on the ground. Special aluminum repulsing magnets?

Yes, but it is a hover car, like it says in one place in the clip. That's why it affects the aluminum can. It's not really using magnetic forces and the minerals in the ground - the occupants would not be safe given the required field strength.

You can't ask me what I think,........ I was the one who asked the question.

It matters what you think. From your question it sounded like you thought it could be real. If you expressed more doubt than belief, then it is simply a matter of exposing the truth. There wouldn't have been any doubt in your stand in the matter if you initially stated your belief one way or another.

There was an article in MotorAge (auto industry trade journal) a year or so about how they built the prototype - that's where I read that it was a hover car and was not really operating with maglev.
