I understand not considering marriage, when a woman regularly swims with her divorce lawyer.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice. -

What! Sharks are cool.
I have swam in the same ocean with them, worked with hundreds of them within 50 foot of me. No Great Whites, but Bull Sharks are just as honery.
I'm talking a day at the beach and working on Shrimp boats. They certainly demand a healthy respect for them.
If you were to fall overboard off a shrimp boat when pulling in the nets, you would not have a chance to drown. The sharks would eat you first.Last edited by Stytooner; 02-21-2013, 08:27 AM.LeeComment

A fellow lawyer was swimming of Malibu and was bumped twice by a great white shark. The shark did not bite him..... Professional courtesy.

I was snorkeling at an island in the Pacific one time and saw a great white appeared out of no where. My first initial reaction was "Oh sh*t!!" but then turned into curiosity. I started to paddle toward it. I must have made lots of noise as the shark quickly swam off. In hindsight I guess I'm happy that it did.

"I'm talking a day at the beach and working on Shrimp boats" My junior yr in H.S I worked a summer or at least part of that summer on a boat out of Tampa Bay, it was by far some of the most physically demanding, hardest work I ever endured in my lifetime, but very educational, we routinely drug in small and sometimes larger sharks with the nets and have seen a great number of sharks well within swimmin distance of most beaches in the area, most folks have no clue as to their proximity of beaches.

My lasty 18 months before I retired I ran the education office at MCAS Beaufort, SC. Incoming officers would get assigned as the Education Officer until another billet opened up for them. The last one was a Cobra pilot, which we didn't have there, and would 'borrow' a bird when one of his buddies flew in for some reason. Often I would fly with him. Just south of Hilton Head Island there was a large pool/inlet that always had Great Whites in it. Attacks weren't often heard of, not that they didn't happen, but that they were kept quiet due to the impact on the tourist trade.Don, aka Pappy,
