That is good and will probably work and last. Way back when I had a race car, during a red flag, I noticed the High pressure hose from the fuel pump to the distribution
block on the fuel injection had small pin hole leak. Ran back to the truck and got some Duct Tape and wrapped the hose with it. Stopped the leak and we went on to win the 100 lap race going away. We were ruining Methanol and the tape didn't come off and showed no signs of leaking when we changed the hose back in the shop. Carry a roll in the console in both our vehicles.
