    Snow Driving

This is one of the best visual descriptions that I have seen in a long time for driving in a snow storm.

        Sure looks familiar.

Man, It has been a really long time since I've driven in a snow storm at night. Almost forgot those "streaks" coming at you in the headlights.

I don't know quite what it is about the snow, but I love it. Tough on the back with all the shoveling (four times, just today I've been out there), but yet I still love seeing the stuff come down.

When I was a kid, I'd love taking my ski's and going off into the woods on a day like today. There is nothing more beatiful to me than being in the woods on a heavy snow day.

I grew up in Brooklyn, NY. One of the things I loved about a heavy snowfall was that was the only time the city was quiet. It was so peaceful. I'd go out 1 a.m. to shovel snow just to enjoy the serenity of the quiet. I don't live anywhere near a city now and I still love the quiet and snow.
In my old age I look back and realize how lucky I was to live in a time when common sense was common.
