I joined this form in June of 2005. I have posted less than 100 times, but I visit it on an almost daily basis. AFAIK I have only one inappropriate posting (a joke about Indiana politicians). I have learned much about my BT3100 and its capabilities. I don't think I am as accomplished as all of you but I am still listed as a Form Newbie. I am not sure what the requirements are for changing status, but if some one will explain them to me I will upgrade myself to veteran visitor.

I wouldn't let it bother you for even a second. Those "assigned" designations mean squat in the real world. Quality not quantity is what really counts._________________________

I think your tag line is appropriate:
"I am praying for patience but extremely upset that it takes so long."
JWD, I have been watching the membership list quite closely recently - because of lots of spammers, and I did notice that many long timers here have posts less than 100 or so, and are listed as "newbies".
Please bring those "post" counts up. "Occasional" posters have some great insights, and it would be great to see more of these posts!Hank Lee

Two ways to change it:
move beyond 100 posts or become a patron and you can change it to whatever suits you.Donate to my Tour de Cure

Hey JWD i was just in your neighborhood this morning--had a meeting in Schererville, IN. I live in La Porte so when i've seen you post it catches my eye. I've looked at my projects, and should still be "Newbie" regardless of the number of posts.

Thanks for all the answers. I was afraid it had something to do with ability. I will keep posting at a rate of one per 100 visits. I should make veteran sometime in 2017. Next question, how do you tell if you are a patron? (I contributed during the transition earlier this year.) Also, Eagan up here we consider Southern Indiana politicians intelligent, hard working and most importantly honest. I suspect my excised joke reflected unfavorably on Northern Indiana politicians because they fail to meet one or all of the standards set by yours.I am praying for patience but extremely upset that it takes so long.Comment
