    Fractional Calculator for smart phone

A recent laminate floor install sent me looking for an Android calculator App that will work with fractions. I found many but.... They were made for math people and not us woodworkers and the type of fractions we use. For example a run of 79 and 3/4 and a laminate plank of 7 and 9/16 yields 10 and 6/11 planks. What I would like is a rounding function at the final result that would give me 10 and 1/2. Now 6/11 is not so hard to round but when it's 67/143 and late in the evening and you have to stop and think ......

Any one know of an app that works this way, rounding function? Free would be nice but I'm open to something under $5.

In the mean time I'm working my way through the free ones, if I get lucky I'll let you know.

Lots of stuff, but some of them aren't easy to use. The fractional ones are a pain.

Thanks Eric, that one looks interesting. I'll give it a try after dinner.

I use this one, but I also use an Android app called Handy Construction Calculators. It is very easy to use and has step by step pictures.

Well, I have played with both of these and I'll be keeping Handyman Calculator suggested by Eric It seems to do most of what the Handy Construction Calculator does and is free. However neither would give me a simple way to round the resulting fraction to one that is available on my measuring tape. (cue another reason to go metric) So I am continuing my quest.

Thanks for the input and I'll let you know if I find what I am looking for.
