    New Terminology

Maybe I'm just out of the lingo loop, but here is one called "Damage Intervention Device".

THAT'S what my wife calls me

when I tell her she's about to tear something up by doing it the wrong way! (actually she also calls me a sexual intellectual.)

        Yes,

ALOT. When I go to bed at night, I just pick any spot on the bedroom floor, office floor, even the living room floor!
I'm sure there were others who googled and came up empty handed, just what is "Damage Intervention Device". ?? (just read your reply at the other sight. "A few years ago, I backed my truck up the driveway, and just bumped into a palm tree. There was just a little bit of paint damage. Now, for damage like that, I could have told my wife that my Damage Intervention Device malfunctioned. She could then decide if it was my brain or the brakes." good one.

No. I did a Google search

for that phrase and it showed up as the other place and saw it there. May have to check it out tomorrow. Right now I'm pickin' out the spot on the floor to sleep!

Seems to me that is the generic descriptive term for what is now called Saw Stop. You better trade mark it right away

                Bill
a little north but still a left coaster

Exactly. It may come to pass that a "DID" will be a catch-all. You have me wonderin' if I can coin it?
