Now that I am retired, I have 6 Saturdays and 1 Sunday a week. Need that Sunday to rest up for the next Saturday. The one problem I have and don't like are the Holiday used to look forward to them but now if I am not careful they can be just another day. I have to make sure I plan something to celebrate each one. Christmas and Thanksgiving are OK but it is the National Ones that can sneak by if we are not careful
Before I retired it seemed I had a 80 hour week. 8 hours at work and 8 hours working on admin issues I did have time to work on at work. I basically had two jobs. Supervisor of the Equipping line and then in charge of the inventory and purchasing of part and equipment used in the production of the CHP vehicles. Then I changed job to supervisor of the Electrical Shop but still kept the inventory and purchasing responsibilities. I would work on the purchasing and inventory responsibilities after hours as most of that was on the computer. To many interuption while at work. I was lost the first few weeks of retirement as I went from super busy to nothing in the space of 1 hour. Didn't take long to fill up the time though.
