              I didn't know Barry knew me. Very funny and some truth to it. Broken stuff doesn't go in my shop it is taken down to the storage place I rent and placed with all the useless stuff.

              My shop is hard enough to keep Kirbyesk with my tools and pices of lumber.

                      I like the head in the vice part. Should have used that one myself when someone would use my tools for the totally wrong use.

                          I had a lamp like that. After a long time it just seemed to disappear. I figured one of two things could have happened. It could have left the house to find a house more in need of a working lamp. Or, my wife took pity on me that it became a collectors item, and threw it away. Since I didn't have to fix it, I never bothered to ask her.

                              OTOH, these posts goaded me last night into ordering a new dimmer module for the touch lamp on my wife's night stand- hasn't worked right for a few weeks...

                                          That is depressingly familiar.
                                          My wood shop started out a a 28X33 section of a large room. The rest of the room was to be used for camper, (We manage an RV park), to have rallies and get togethers.

                                          That was 2 years ago. Since that time the 'extra' space not allocated to my use has filled with weed eaters, yard sale stuff, broken stuff, my mechanics tools, household furnishings to be refurbished, (Like, RIGHT... that's gonna happen!). gardening equipment, electrical supplies, ad nauseum!

                                          My wood working space is now 28X25 and shrinking every week.
