    no woodworking this weekend!

Okay - I try not to brag - but I think this is worth sharing......

I'm not at home in Colorado ---- I'm in North Chicago, where I just watched my oldest go from recruit to sailor........ Tomorrow, he'll head down to Charleston, SC for A school (Navy Nuclear).

Look - if watching your son turn into a man doesn't choke you up --- dude you've got no soul!

The feelings are both ways. I remember the day My father took me to the induction center. We both felt like I was leaving the planet. The thoughts of this time being one of the few last times we see each other were evident.

Now that is a home run.

            Good job, dad!!!

All of you dads (and moms) whose children enlist, I thank God for you people.

And all of those that have served, whether voluntarily or not, are always in my prayers.
